ZZK Records Needs YOU!!!

ZZK is an Argentinian label and nightclub operating from Buenas Aires, they are a brilliant collective putting out experimental, digital cumbias and other unique interpretations of traditional Latin genres and they need your help: here is the lowdown….

Earlier this year, we launched ZZK Films with the release of A Musical Journey. Now, we’ve got three more incredible documentaries in development, and are calling on our global community to help us get them into production and out to the world.

“This is not formulaic. It is music created by people who creatively and successfully push and blur the boundaries in Latin American folk and electronic music.” – Sound and Colours (UK)

“There’s really nothing like ZZK Records anywhere in the world: the avant Argentinian label releases experimental, digital cumbias and other unique interpretations traditional Latin genres; acts as a family, collective and nightclub in Buenos Aires; and, of course, travels the globe.” – The Fader (USA)

“… one of the most influential Latin-based electronic labels currently in existence, ZZK Records. Born out of the Zizek Club nights in Buenos Aires, Argentina, ZZK has been a massive influence on the Latin electronic underground.” – Complex (USA)

*UPDATE! December 5th – Today, we are thrilled to announce that a generous donor has offered to match 1:1 EVERY dollar you donate up to $5000. That’s right– every dollar you contribute is actually worth twice as much. Thank you for helping us celebrate Latin American music, art, and culture in 2017, and beyond.

Why not make everybody happy this Christmas and lay a few dollars on the ZZK family? Click on this link to get to their funding campaign.
